Krylia Sovetov Samara have announced changes in the team’s coaching staff following a meeting of the board of directors.
Head coach Miodrag Bozovic has left the club, as have his assistants Vojo Chalov, Sasha Petrovic, and Milorad Bajovic. The team will be managed by Andrey Talalaev, who has signed a two-year contract and will start working on 29 June. His staff will include Sergey Kornilenko, Vladimir Kukhlevsky and Viktor Gaus.
Bozovic has been working at Krylia since October 2018. Last season they finished 13th in the RPL and beat Nizhny Novgorod in the promotion/relegation play-offs. This season the team is bottom with 22 points after 24 matchdays.
Talalaev's last job was at FC Khimki from Moscow Region, where he was in charge of the FNL team from April 2019 to January 2020. In the RPL, the 47-year-old has coached FC Rostov (in 2011) and Volga Nizhny Novgorod (in 2014).
