Zenit to receive new RPL trophy on Wednesday

The presentation ceremony will take place after the matchday 27 game against FC Sochi.

On the last matchday, Zenit beat Krasnodar 4-2 on the road and sealed the Russian Premier Liga title early. The St. Petersburg club became the earliest champions in RPL history.

Zenit will be the first to receive the new trophy, which the RPL originally presented on 26 February 2020. It was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio and Art4You art production studio.

In the 2018/19 season, Zenit won their fifth RPL championship and received the old trophy to keep permanently, after which the league presented a new trophy.
