FC Orenburg picked up their first point in eight RPL games as they held FC Rostov to a goalless draw. 

Pavel Mamaev had the best chance of the first half when he shot from 25 yards. Orenburg keeper Andrey Klimovich got down low to his left to turn it behind.

Klimovich was called into action again 10 minutes after the break as Dennis Hadzikadunic unleashed a fierce 30-yard drive, as he punched it away at full stretch.

FC Orenburg travel to face champions Zenit St. Petersburg next on Wednesday 15 July, while FC Rostov are away to Rubin Kazan on Thursday 16 July.
