RPL to take part in "Please, breathe!" campaign

This campaign will be dedicated to medical professionals and volunteers who help people with coronavirus.

As part of the campaign, organised by the International News Agency Rossiya Segodnya, all players will take to the field ahead of matchday 29 games in t-shirts bearing the names and photos of the campaign’s heroes - doctors, volunteers, orderlies, paramedics, nurses and ambulance staff. TV commentators will also tell the stories of medical workers during match broadcasts.

RPL President Sergey Pryadkin:
"The Russian Premier Liga is grateful to all the medical workers who have saved people's lives during the pandemic, and is happy to join this campaign. Thanks to their dedication and professionalism, we returned to our usual life and were able to resume the championship. Thank you to all the doctors for their feats."

The "Please, breathe!” campaign has been organised by INA Rossiya Segodnya as a sign of immense human gratitude and a desire to preserve the memory of those who risk their lives to save the lives of others on a daily basis. The campaign was implemented with the support of the Russian Federation Ministry and the Moscow Department of Health, Medical Volunteers social movement and the Association of Volunteer Centres, as well as the non-profit organisation National Priorities.
