Dynamo Moscow 0-1 FC Orenburg
Wednesday 22 July, VTB Arena
Goal: Fameyeh (29’)
Man of the Match: Andrey Malykh (FC Orenburg)
With Europa League football already secured before kickoff, Dynamo Moscow slumped to a surprise 1-0 defeat to bottom side FC Orenburg thanks to Joel Fameyeh’s first-half header.
Fameyeh stooped in front of Roman Evgenyev to glance home a fine near-post header from Andrey Malykh’s low cross to give the RPL’s bottom club an unlikely lead.
Dynamo Moscow had already guaranteed a sixth-place finish in the 2019/20 RPL season, meaning they will qualify for the Europa League if Zenit St. Petersburg win the Russian Cup Final against second-tier FC Khimki on Saturday 25 July. FC Orenburg were already confirmed as finishing in 16th before kickoff.
