Zenit, Lokomotiv and Krasnodar are top three in RPL 2019/20 season

Zenit St. Petersburg were crowned champions after matchday 26 when they beat FC Krasnodar 4-2 on the road. Sergey Semak’s side finished the season with 72 points, winning 22 matches. Next season, they will play in the group stage of the Champions League.

Lokomotiv Moscow secured second place after Dynamo Moscow's victory over FC Krasnodar on 19 July in their postponed match from matchday 23. The Moscow club won 16 matches and accumulated 57 points. Next season, Lokomotiv will play in the group stage of the Champions League.

FC Krasnodar beat Akhmat on the last matchday and secured third place with 52 points with 14 wins. They will start in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

CSKA Moscow won against FC Tambov and kept the fourth place with 50 points. The Armymen will play in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

FC Rostov finished with 48 points after the defeat to Zenit and ended up in fifth place. This earns them the right to play in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Dynamo took sixth place. The Moscow club will enter European competition if Zenit beat Khimki in the final of the Russian Cup. In this case, CSKA will play in the group stage of the Europa League, while FC Rostov will start from the third qualifying round, and Dynamo from the second.

Krylia Sovetov Samara took 15th place in the standings, and Orenburg finished bottom in 16th.
