RFU Executive Committee approve calendar structure for 2020/21 season

The 2020/21 season will start with the Russian Super Cup on 7 August at the VEB Arena. 

Meanwhile, the first RPL matchday is scheduled for 8-9 August. In August, six matchdays will be played before the international break: the first two will be separated by a week, with the remaining ones taking place twice a week.

The last matches before the winter break will be held on 15-17 December.  The championship will resume on 26-28 February, with fixtures taking place once a week. 

The 2020/21 RPL season will end on 16 May. The reserve days have been declared for 10 and 14 February.
