RPL, RFU and Match TV present end of season awards

The award ceremony will be broadcast on Match TV on Saturday 1 August at 17:05 MSK.

The awards will be held in the following categories: manager of the season, player of the season, young player of the season, top scorer, best goalkeeper, best referee, Youth Championship player of the season, and women’s Super League player of the season. In addition, the Liga Fair Play award will be presented.

The manager, player and young player of the season will be selected by experts: managers and captains of the RPL clubs, five experts from the league broadcaster MATCH PREMIER, representatives of seven media outlets (Sports.ru, Championat, Sport24, TASS, R-Sport, Sport-Express, Sovetsky Sport), as well as the head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov. Each expert will choose their top three; five points will be awarded for first place nominations, three points for second, and one point for third.

The list of nominees for manager of the season includes all coaches who took charge of RPL clubs this season: Miodrag Bozovic, Andrey Talalaev (Krylia Sovetov Samara), Konstantin Emelyanov, Konstantin Paramonov (FC Orenburg), Aleksandr Grigoryan, Sergey Pervushin (FC Tambov), Igor Cherevchenko, Sergey Podpaly (Arsenal Tula), Viktor Gancharenko (CSKA Moscow), Rashid Rakhimov, Igor Shalimov (Akhmat Grozny), Dmitry Khokhlov, Kirill Novikov (Dynamo Moscow), Sergey Semak (Zenit St. Petersburg), Murad Musaev (FC Krasnodar), Yury Semin, Marko Nikolic (Lokomotiv Moscow), Valery Karpin (FC Rostov), Roman Sharonov, Leonid Slutsky (Rubin Kazan), Aleksandr Tochilin (FC Sochi), Vladimir Fedotov (FC Orenburg, FC Sochi), Oleg Kononov, Domenico Tedesco (Spartak Moscow), Dmitry Parfenov (Ural Ekaterinburg), Vadim Evseev (FC Ufa).

The shortlists of nominees for player and young player of the season were compiled by representatives of the RPL and MATCH PREMIER.

Nominees for player of the season: Artem Dzyuba, Sardar Azmoun, Wilmar Barrios, Douglas Santos (all Zenit), Grzegorz Krychowiak, Aleksey Miranchuk (both Lokomotiv), Nikola Vlasic (CSKA), Eldor Shomurodov (Rostov), Evgeny Lutsenko (Arsenal), Daniil Fomin (Ufa), Aleksandr Sobolev (Krylia Sovetov/Spartak), Eric Bikfalvi (Ural).

Nominees for young player of the season: Fedor Chalov, Ivan Oblyakov, Kristijan Bistrovic, Igor Diveev (all CSKA), Magomed-Shapi Suleymanov, Matvey Safonov, Daniil Utkin (all Krasnodar), Daniil Lesovoy (Arsenal), Aleksandr Maksimenko (Spartak), Maksim Glushenkov (Krylia Sovetov), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Rubin), Oston Urunov (Ufa).

The goal of the season will be chosen by representatives of the RPL and MATCH PREMIER experts. The list of nominees consists of all goal of the month winners, as well as three of the most striking in the opinion of the RPL: Aleksandr Sobolev (Krylia Sovetov vs Arsenal, matchday 2), Djordje Despotovic (Akhmat vs Orenburg, MD 4), Christian Noboa (Sochi vs Akhmat, MD 11), Yury Zhirkov (Krylia Sovetov vs Zenit, MD 14), Nikola Vlasic (CSKA vs Krylia Sovetov, MD 17), Ivan Oblyakov (Krasnodar vs CSKA, MD 19), Mario Fernandes (CSKA vs Ural, MD 20), Roman Romanov (Sochi vs Rostov, MD 23), Daniil Utkin (Krasnodar vs Zenit, MD 26), Kristijan Bistrovic (Tambov vs CSKA, MD 9), Eric Bicfalvi (Ural vs Arsenal, MD 29), Remy Cabella (Krasnodar vs Akhmat, MD 30).

The best referee will be chosen by the RPL clubs, while the Youth Championship and Super League players of the season will be chosen by the captains and managers of the teams in their respective leagues.
