Djordje Despotovic gets RPL Goal of the Season award

The Serbian forward scored a stunning solo goal on Matchday 4 against Akhmat Grozny, and was named scorer of the RPL Goal of the Season.

Djordje Despotovic scored on 5 August in Orenburg in the matchday 4 fixture against Akhmat. Although the forward equalised with an individual effort, Orenburg lost the match in Grozny 2-1.

The most beautiful goal of the season was determined by experts of the RPL and MATCH PREMIER TV channel. Among the nominees were the authors of the nine Goal of the Month winners, and the three most striking as chosen by RPL representatives.
