Stunning Cabella double seals Krasnodar win over Ufa

Remy Cabella smashed home his third and fourth goals in his last five RPL games for FC Krasnodar before Marcus Berg completed a 12-minute second-half burst against FC Ufa. Murad Musaev’s side were in complete control, registering over 70% possession and 23 shots on goal to Ufa’s four.

Cabella broke the deadlock from Wanderson’s cross after the Brazilian dribbled half the length of the pitch, then curled home a beautiful side-footed effort into the top corner. Wanderson was again the provider when he laid a simple tap-in for Berg - who also hit the bar with a header - from a few yards out.

FC Ufa travel to take on Arsenal Tula away next up on Friday 14 August, while FC Krasnodar are on the road against Lokomotiv Moscow on Saturday 15 August.
