FC Sochi rescues point against Spartak

Aleksandr Sobolev and Jordan Larsson put Spartak into a 2-0 lead after only 10 minutes thanks to the former’s header and the latter’s rapid breakaway finish. 

A foul by Pavel Maslov in the box led to a penalty to the visitors after quarter of an hour which Dmitry Poloz confidently converted. In the last minute of normal time, Christian Noboa converted a second spot kick for the visitors to snatch a point.

Spartak Moscow host Akhmat Grozny next on Saturday 14 August, while FC Sochi are at home to FC Khimki on the same day.
