Russian Premier Liga is 19 years old!

On 27 August 2001, the non-profit partnership "Russian Football Premier Liga" was established, which received the right to host the Russian football championship from the 2002 season.

This season, which started on 8 August, 2020, was the 19th in the organisation's history, with a total of 38 clubs competing in the Russian Premier Liga.
