RPL to inspect Fisht Olympic stadium pitch

A joint commission of the RFU and RPL will assess the condition of the pitch at the Fisht stadium on 29 September. 

The condition of the Fisht stadium pitch for the matchday nine fixture between FC Sochi and FC Krasnodar has caused serious concern to the Russian Premier Liga. 

The management of the League, FC Sochi and the Fisht stadium held a video conference with the participation of experts specialising in football surfaces. On 29 September, the RFU and RPL commission will check the condition of the pitch and, together with representatives of the club and the arena, develop a further action plan to improve the quality of the pitch.
