Rubin Kazan jumped all the way up to the cusp of the European places with a ruthless home win over Arsenal Tula. Carl Starfelt and Djordje Despotovic both struck within two first-half minutes to put Rubin in control, before Soltmurad Bakaev sealed a comfortable three points shortly after the break. Kirill Panchenko slid a consolation into the bottom corner in the last 10 minutes, but by then the game had been decided.

Rubin jump all the way up to fifth on 21 points, while Arsenal remain 11th on 12 points.
