Euro 2020 play-offs
Path A Final: Hungary 2-1 Iceland
Hordur Magnusson played the full match against Hungary. Iceland led from the 11th minute, but in the 88th the hosts equalized before scoring the winning goal two minutes into added time to make it to the finals of Euro 2020. Magnusson's CSKA team-mate Arnor Sigurdsson did not play. Iceland will play their next two games away in the UEFA Nations League on 15 November against Denmark and on 18 November against England.
Path D Final: Georgia 0-1 North Macedonia
Rotor Volgograd’s Solomon Kverkvelia started the match, and in the second minute added on his club teammate Zuriko Davitashvili made a brief substitute’s appearance. Arsenal's Gia Grigalava remained on the bench, while Ufa's Jamal Tabidze and another Rotor player, Beka Mikeltadze, were left out of the matchday squad altogether. Rubin’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was tested positive with coronavirus, and could not help his team. Georgia will play their next two matches at home in the Nations League on 15 November against Armenia and on 18 November against Estonia.
Africa Cup of Nations 2021 qualification
Group B: Burkina Faso 2-1 Malawi
FC Khimki striker Mohamed Konate came on as a substitute in the 78th minute with his team winning 2-0. Burkina Faso share the lead in their group with Uganda on seven points. The return match against Malawi will be held on 16 November.
Group F: Cameroon 4-1 Mozambique
Dynamo Moscow’s Clinton N'Jie took the field in the 64th minute, when his team were already leading 3-0, and scored a fourth 10 minutes from time After three games, Cameroon have seven points and now lead the table three points ahead of Mozambique. The teams will play the return game on 16 November.
Group H: Zambia 2-1 Botswana
Arsenal Tula's Kings Kangwa came on for the home side at half-time with the score at 1-1, and his team eventually won by scoring oncel in the second half. Kings' brother Evans was left out of the match. After three games, the Zambians are one point behind the qualification places on three points. On 16 November Zambia and Botswana will play the return game.
Two teams from each group will advance to the finals, which will be held in January 2022 in Cameroon.
UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2021 qualifiers
Group 4: Scotland 2-2 Croatia
Dynamo's Nikola Moro and CSKA's Kristijan Bistrovic were in the starting line-up for the Croats. Moro opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and three minutes later Bistrovic increased the visitors’ advantage, but it was not enough to beat the Scots. Both players were replaced in the 81st minute with the score at 2-2. In the final round of qualifiers, third-placed Croatia will face Lithuania on 17 November.
Group 6: Israel 1-1 North Macedonia
FC Rostov’s David Tosevski came on for North Macedonia immediately after the break with his team losing 1-0. In the second half, the visitors first missed a penalty, but then equalised to make it 1-1. Second-placed Macedonia will play Montenegro next.
