Rotor held out for a point at home to Ural as they played out an uneventful goalless draw. The closest either side came to breaking the deadlock was a close-range effort from Andrey Panyukov late on that hit the post. The hosts now have a point of breathing space from bottom club Ufa, while Ural have now gone four matches unbeaten.

Rotor stay 15th on eight points, while Ural remain in 11th on 16 points.
