Ural closed out their last home game of the calendar year with a dramatic late win over Sochi. The visitors went down to 10 men on the stroke of half time as Sergey Terekhov was shown a second yellow card, while manager Vladimir Fedotov was also shown a red card. Aleksey Evseev came off the bench with less than 10 minutes remaining, and with one of his first touches drilled home a pinpoint bottom-corner finish to break Sochi's resistance. 

Ural move up to 11th on 19 points, while Sochi drop to eighth on 24 points.
