Vladislav Ignatyev struck twice to complete a comeback win for Lokomotiv against 10-man Rubin and lift them to within a point of the European places. In-Beom Hwang had given Rubin the lead after just three minutes, only for Vladislav Ignatyev to equalise less than quarter of an hour later. Rubin striker Ivan Ignatyev was shown a second yellow card just after the break, before Anton Miranchuk coolly converted a penalty that teammate Ignatyev had won. In the last few minutes of normal time, Ignatyev was again on hand, tapping home a corner from close range.
Lokomotiv head up to fifth in the table on 28 points, while Rubin remain ninth on 24 points.
