FC Krasnodar to face Dinamo Zagreb in Europa League round of 32

The Europa League round of 32 draw took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The only RPL participant, FC Krasnodar, will face Dinamo Zagreb. The Croatian side previously met CSKA Moscow in the Europa League group stage, drawing the first encounter 0-0 in Moscow and beating the Armymen 3-1 at Maksimir Stadium.

The first round-of-32 legs will take place on 18 February, while the second are planned for 25 February. As an unseeded team Krasnodar will play first match at home.

Murad Musaev’s team entered the Europa League knock-out stage as the third-place team from their Champions League group. The Black-Greens drew away with Rennes and Chelsea and beat the French side at home during the first ever group campaign.

Previously Krasnodar have participated in the Europa League knockouts three times, twice reaching the round of 16 in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons.
