Khimki snatches win against Lokomotiv with two late goals

Despite trailing from the 37th minute, Khimki finished the year with a fourth straight home victory. Grzegorz Krychowiak twice helped Lokomotiv to take the lead: firstly with his third goal of the season and later with an assist from Murilo. Between these two goals Khimki answered thanks to Lokomotiv graduate Arshak Koryan, who converted a penalty.

In the final minutes of the second half Ilya Kukharchuk equalised with a goal in his fourth straight game, and later Aleksandr Dolgov, who came on as a substitute, scored his first ever RPL goal, which turned out to be the winner.

Khimki stay 11th on 25 points, while Lokomotiv are seventh on 28 points.
