Rostov were rewarded for their dominance against Arsenal Tula, claiming two-thirds of possession and playing almost twice as many passes as their visitors.
Taras Burlak was sent off at the start of the second half to make life even harder for the visitors, before Dmitry Poloz stepped up to the penalty spot to convert the only goal of the game. Arsenal got a chance to score from the spot, but Sergey Pesyakov denied the Robert Bauer's shot.
Rostov stay ninth on 40 points, while Arsenal remain 13th on 23 points.
