Tambov relegated after defeat at Rostov

Tambov's last stand was ended after a brave resistance 20 minutes from time as Dmitry Poloz struck a low effort under Radion Syamuk from a Daniil Glebov cutback. 

It wasn't long before the advantage when Kento Hashimoto slammed in a rebound from close range. 

Tambov's relegation is now confirmed, as they remain eight points adrift with only two games to go. 

Rostov remain ninth on 43 points, while Tambov are stuck to the foot of the table - and relegated - on 13 points.
