Zenit head coach Sergei Semak has won the vote to determine the RPL Best Head Coach of the 2020/21 season.
The voting was completed by the head coaches and captains of the RPL teams, the head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov and commentators of the MATCH Premier TV channel. Semak took first place with 96 points, with Rubin Kazan head coach Leonid Slutsky just three points behind. The top three was completed by Khimki head coach Igor Cherevchenko, who scored 61 points.
Semak won the award for best head coach for the second time, having previously won it at the end of the 2019/20 season. The 45-year-old coach led Zenit to a third consecutive RPL championship. This is the seventh league title for Zenit. Over the 30 matchdays, Semak's team won 19 games, drew eight times and suffered three defeats. The Blue-White-Blues also picked up the 2020 Russian Super Cup.
