Roman Evgenyev replaces Andrey Mostovoy in the Russian Euro 2020 squad

Dynamo Moscow defender was included in the roster after Mostovoy’s test on coronavirus showed the unpleasant result.

22-year-old Evgenyev has been playing for Dynamo since 2017. In the 2020/21 season the defender played 27 games and scored one goal. In March the player participated in the UEFA U-21 Championship group stage where was involved in all three games.

Russia national team will kick off Euro 2020 campaign with meeting Belgium at St. Petersburg Stadium. The game will take place on 12 June at 21:00 CET. On 16 June Stanislav Cherchesov team will meet Finland in St. Petersburg, and five days later will face Denmark in Copenhagen.
