The second group E fixture in the opening matchday ended with a goalless draw. Swedish players did not make any shots on target, while Spanish had five attempts, but Robin Olsen kept his team alive.
Krasnodar midfielder Kristoffer Olsson was put in the starting line-up and was replaced in the 84th minute, his former mate Marcus Berg was substituted in the 69th minute. At this moment Viktor Claesson entered the field replacing Alexander Isac. Spartak forward Jordan Larsson stayed on the bench.
After the first matchday in the group E Spain and Sweden stay behind Slovakia, who beat Poland 2-1 earlier on this day.
