RPL teams' summer training camps: Rubin win against Nizhny Novgorod, Dynamo beat AEL

On 2 July, five RPL teams played friendly matches in preparation for the 2021/22 season.

Nizhny Novgorod 0-3 Rubin

Kazan beat RPL newcomers Nizhny Novgorod at their stadium. In the first half, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored from the penalty spot, and after the break Ivan Ignatiev scored a double. The forward scored one of his goals from the penalty spot.

Spartak 2-2 Bravo

The Red-Whites drew with Slovenian side Bravo at their training camp in Austria. Spartak conceded in the 44th minute, Victor Moses equalised in the 52nd minute. Zelimkhan Bakaev put Spartak ahead just before the hour mark, but five minutes before the end of the match, the Slovenians scored another goal.

Ufa 1-1 Olympiacos

Ufa met the champion of Greece at their training camp in Austria. The Bashkiria side's only goal was scored by Aleksandr Saplinov in the 20th minute.

Dynamo 1-0 AEL

Dynamo faced the third-placed side in the Cypriot championship and won thanks to a goal by Daniil Lesovoy in the 76th minute.
