RPL teams' summer training camps: CSKA and Lokomotiv beat Austrian teams, Ufa win against Botosani

On 9 July, three RPL teams played friendly matches in preparation for the 2021/22 season.

CSKA 1-0 Admira

The Armymen beat the Austrian Bundesliga's 11th-placed side of the 2020/21 season thanks to a goal by Ilzat Akhmetov in the 52nd minute. At the CSKA training camp, there is only one friendly match left, against Slovakia side Vion on 13 July.

Lokomotiv 1-0 Hartberg

Artur Cherny's goal in the 34th minute was enough for Lokomotiv to beat Hartberg, which finished seventh in last season's Austrian championship. On 11 July, Marko Nikolic's team will meet Celje from Slovenia in Austria.

Ufa 2-1 Botosani

Ufa played their eighth friendly match in the off-season and defeated Botosani, who finished sixth in the Romanian championship. Vyacheslav Krotov opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, and Aleksandr Saplinov scored the winner in the 73rd. On 12 July, Ufa will play their last friendly match in Austria against Viktoria Plzen.
