Five Russian Premier Liga teams played friendly matches in preparation for the 2021/22 season.
Rostov 2-1 Lokomotiv
Today, Rostov held two matches at the training camp in Austria, and in the first of them they took on Lokomotiv. All the goals were scored in the second half. In the 65th minute, Nikolay Komlichenko put Rostov ahead with a penalty, before Roman Tugarev doubled the advantage in the 81st. Maksim Petrov bagged a consolation for the Railroaders in the 86th minute.
Dynamo 2-2 Sparta
The Blue-Whites met Czech side Sparta Prague. In the first half, Konstantin Tyukavin scored a double for Dynamo, while the Czechs scored one in each half. On 15 July, Dynamo will face Jabolnec in a friendly match in Austria.
Akhmat 1-2 Slovan
Akhmat played two matches at their training camp in Austria, and in the first lost to Czech side Slovan Liberec. All the goals were scored in the first half; first, Mohamed Konate broke the deadlock, then Akhmat could have increased the advantage, but Daniil Utkin missed a penalty, before Andrey Talalaev’s men conceded two goals in five minutes.
Ufa 0-2 Viktoria Plzen
Ufa lost to Czech top-flight outfit Viktoria Plzen at their training camp in Austria, conceding once in each half.
Akhmat 1-3 Bohemians
In the second match of the day, Akhmat took on Bohemians. Islam Alsultanov opened the scoring in the 6th minute, but Akhmat conceded three unanswered goals.
Rostov 1-2 Kishvarda
Rostov’s second fixture came against Hungarian club Kishvarda. After the first half Rostov were 2-0 down, but pulled back one goal thanks to a strike by Maksim Osipenko. On 17 July, Rostov will play against another Hungarian team in Honved.
