Spartak drawn against Benfica in Champions League 3rd qualifying round 

Spartak Moscow will take on Benfica in the Champions League third qualifying round. The first leg will take place on 3/4 August, with the return leg the following week on 10 August. 

Spartak haven't progressed beyond the group stages in their last nine Champions League campaigns. In the 2012/13 season they faced Benfica, winning 2-1 in Moscow and losing 2-0 in Portugal.
