Rubin face winners of Suduva vs Rakow in inaugural Conference League 3rd qualifying round

Rubin Kazan have been drawn against the winners of Suduva vs Rakow in the third qualifying round of the brand new UEFA Conference League. Meanwhile Sochi will face the winners of Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade vs Dac Dunajska Streda, if they make it through against Kesla of Azerbaijan. 

The first legs of those third round ties will take place on 5 August, with the second legs a week later on 12 August. 

Rubin return to Europe after a six-year absence, having last appeared in the Europa League group stages. 

Sochi have their second round first leg - their first-ever continental fixture - at home on 22 July, before the return leg exactly a week later in Azerbaijan.
