RPL teams recognized their 3rd qualifying round opponents.
After successfully negotiating their first-ever European tie this week by beating Azeri Cup champions Kesla 7-2 on aggregate, Sochi will now take on Partizan Belgrade in the third round. The Serbian powerhouses beat DAC Dunejska Streda 3-0 over two legs in the second round.
Rubin Kazan will also enter the competition at this level having finished fourth in the Russian Premier Liga last season. They have been drawn against RKS Rakow, after the Polish side knocked out Lithuanian side Suduva on penalties after two goalless draws.
Rubin face Rakow in Poland in the first leg, while Sochi host Partizan at the Fisht Olympic Stadium first. Both games will take place on Thursday 5 August. Second legs are scheduled on 12 August.
