print version

Sixteen-year-old Krylia Sovetov winger Sergey Pinyaev played his first match in the league.

The Chertanovo academy graduate came on as a substitute on matchday two against Spartak, replacing Roman Ezhov in the 76th minute. For the matchday one fixture against Akhmat, Pinyaev remained on the bench.

The Krylia midfielder takes fourth place in the list of youngest players to have appeared in an RPL match. Above him are Aleksey Rebko (in 2002 he played for Spartak at 16 years 2 months 17 days), Maksim Stavtsev (in 2020 he played for Rostov at 16 years 4 months 21 days) and Sergey Revyakin (in 2011 he played for CSKA at 16 years 7 months 25 days).

Pinyaev joined the Samara club in July 2021 and signed a three-year contract. Previously, he had played for his native Chertanovo. In the 2020/21 season, at the age of 15, he became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the FNL. In total, Pinyaev played 30 matches in the championship and scored two goals.
