Smolov and Rifat combine to drown Krasnodar

Fedor Smolov and Rifat Zhemaletdinov combined twice in the first half to give Lokomotiv a well deserved victory over Krasnodar. It took just seven minutes for Smolov to score the first; a great finish from a tight angle. Soon, he doubled Loko’s lead and set the Railwaymen on track for a win.

Ecuadorian striker Jhon Cordoba scored again, grabbing a consolation in the second half for his side. 

Loko are now in third place, whereas Krasnodar continue to flounder in lower mid table.
