Lokomotiv to play Lazio in Europa League group stage, Spartak to play Leicester

The draw for the Europa League group stage featuring two Russian clubs, took place in Istanbul, Turkey.

Russian Cup winners Lokomotiv will play in Group E alongside Lazio, Marseille and Galatasaray, while RPL runners up Spartak will take part in Group C with Napoli, Leicester and Legia.

The fixtures will take place on the following dates:

Matchday 1: 16 September
Matchday 2: 30 September
Matchday 3: 21 October
Matchday 4: 4 November
Matchday 5: 25 November
Matchday 6: 9 December

The top three teams of each group will continue to compete in European competitions:

- Group winners will play in the Last 16 of the Europa League;

- Group runners up will face play-off matches to reach the Europa League Last 16 against third-placed teams from Champions League groups

- Third-placed teams will face play-off matches to reach the Europa Conference League Last 16 against Conference League group runners up.
