Jhon Cordoba stole the show again as Krasnodar dispatched Rubin Kazan in a dominant manner. The Colombian first assisted Aleksey Ionov, before scoring his fifth goal of the season a bit later. Rubin were without star attackers Despotovic and Kvaratskhelia, and this was evident in their efforts going forward. In the second half Krasnodar managed to see out their lead comfortably, ultimately taking home all three points. 

After a strong start to the season, Rubin have tailed off slightly but remain in the top five. Krasnodar are just behind them in sixth place.
