Chalov rescues CSKA point in pulsating Arsenal encounter

Igor Diveev wasted no time putting CSKA in charge, stealing in at the back post to nod in the opener. The advantage didn't last long though, as Evgeny Markov pounced from close range after Igor Akinfeev had spilled a long shot. 

After a frantic pace at the start of the second half which saw a raft of Arsenal chances, Ivan Novoseltsev then put the hosts in front by tapping in Markov's glanced header. 

Fedor Chalov spared CSKA's blushes moments later with a beautifully instinctive finish to share the points. 

Arsenal stay 15th on five points, while CSKA stay sixth on 10 points.
