Ejuke the difference as CSKA edge past Ural

Chidera Ejuke broke Ural's resistance shortly after a tight first period with a sweeping finish past CSKA's on loan keeper Ilya Pomazun. 

The quiet opening period hinged on the hosts' penalty appeal that was turned down after a VAR review. Baktiyor Zaynutdinov handled the ball while stooping to head clear an inswinging, but wasn't penalised. 

Jaka Bijol glanced an Ivan Oblyakov corner onto the top of the Ural crossbar around the hour mark, but the Slovenian was imperious at the other end in defence as the visitors held out. 

Ural stay 14th on nine points, while CSKA jump up to fourth on 20 points.
