Since Matchday 2 victory in Krasnodar Khimki never won any RPL match, but the streak ended in a home game against Akhmat. First strike came from Ilya Kukharchuk, who was assisted by Aleksandr Troshechkin and earned his third goal of the season.
The match could become worse for the Grozny side as Marat Bystrov was given a red card on 68th minute, but thanks to VAR the decision was changed to yellow card. In the last minute Aleksandr Dolgov, who came on as a substitute, scored the second goal of the match, which became his first this season. This win is the first one for Khimki in seven RPL head-to-heads with Akhmat.
Khimki stay go 13th on 11 points, while Akhmat is 11th with one point above.
