Fedor Smolov to miss Nizhny Novgorod vs Lokomotiv match

The Russian Premier Liga task force has explained the situation with the Lokomotiv striker.

On 28 October, Lokomotiv player Fedor Smolov independently passed a coronavirus test, which gave a dubious result. In accordance with the RPL’s Sanitary Regulations, Lokomotiv notified the league about this situation and noted that the player had not been in contact with teammates for a week and was training individually.

On the same day, the rest of the team members were tested, with all their results negative. The player is feeling well, and his retesting is scheduled for 1 November.
