On Friday 26 November, the draw was made for the 2022 FIFA World Cup European playoff semi-finals.
Russia were drawn to face Poland in the semi-finals, and will take on the winner of Sweden vs Czech Republic in the final if they win for a place in next year’s tournament. Russia will host the final too if they get there.
