After huffing and puffing for over an hour against Nizhny Novgorod's rearguard stubbornness, Krylia Sovetov simply couldn't blow the hosts' house down. 

Nizhny Novgorod first registered a shot on goal with 10 minutes remaining via Richlord Ennin, and even that was blocked. 

Aleksandr Kerzhakov's side eventually ended their five-match losing run to edge two points clear of thee automatic drop zone. 

Nizhny Novgorod stay 13th on 15 points, while Krylia remain eighth on 24 points.
