The matchday was postponed due to the participation of the Russian national team in the 2022 World Cup play-off matches.
The members of the General Meeting supported the postponement of matchday 22 from 18-20 March to other dates during the previous meeting on 22 November, but then agreed to take time to discuss new dates.
At the meeting on 22 December, the majority of clubs voted to hold matchday 22 on 3-5 May.
At the end of March, the Russian national team will participate in the 2022 World Cup play-offs. On 24 March, Valery Karpin's team will host Poland in the semi-final at the Luzhniki, and if they reach the final, they’ll meet with the winner of Sweden vs Czech Republic in Moscow on 29 March.
