Four RPL players through to Africa Cup of Nations knockouts

At the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, all teams for the last-16 stage have been determined.

As in the group stage, the RPL will be represented in the last 16 by four players: Mohamed Konate (Akhmat, Burkina Faso), Clinton N'Jie (Dynamo, Cameroon), Chidera Ejuke (CSKA, Nigeria) and Montassar Talbi (Rubin, Tunisia).

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations takes place in Cameroon from 9 January to 6 February. The winners of the previous edition were Algeria, but they were eliminated from the current tournament at the group stage.
