UEFA completed the draw for the Europa League Last 16 on Friday. Spartak Moscow - Russia’s last remaining representative left in Europe - have been drawn against RB Leipzig, managed by former Spartak head coach Domenico Tedesco.
The first leg is scheduled to take place on Thursday 10 March, with the return legs one week later. RB Leipzig will host the 1st leg in Germany.
At UEFA’s Executive Committee emergency meeting, it was decided that Russian and Ukrainian clubs will have to play European fixtures at neutral venues until further notice. It has not yet been confirmed where Spartak will play their nominal home leg.
