Krugovoy sets Zenit towards comfortable Ufa win

After a goalless first half which Zenit controlled, they didn’t have to wait long after half time to finally break down Ufa’s stubborn resistance. 

Danil Krugovoy latched onto a loose ball outside the box and hit a first-time effort that took a slight deflection on it’s way over Aleksandr Belenov into the top corner.

Malcom all but wrapped up the result less than 20 minutes later with more than a small slice of fortune. His shot from 25 yards took a huge deflection off Yuri Zhuravlev’s leg to loop agonisignly over Belenov’s head.

Zenit stay top on 44 points, while Ufa remain in the relegation zone in 15th on 16 points.
