Kuzmichev own goal agony saves crucial win for Khimki

As one might have expected, it was a tight affair in Ekaterinburg as bottom side Khimki battled their way to a vital win. 

Oleg Shatov hit the woodwork in the first half, but neither side could make a breakthrough before half time. If anything, Sergey Yuran's visitors grew in confidence - but a VAR review denied them a penalty with less than 15 minutes to go. 

The killer blow arrived in the closing minutes, as Ivan Kuzmichev agonisingly turned a relatively harmless Kirill Bozhinov cross into his own net from a few yards out. 

Ural remain 13th on 20 points, while Khimki go 15th on 18 points.
