10-man Khimki win slips away after Agalarov’s 18th goal

First minutes of bottom sides’ clash saw Aleksandr Belenov’s awful injury caused by Elmir Nabiullin’s tackle. Firstly awarded with yellow card Khimki defender was sent off after VAR review, while Belenov finished the game too, and Belarussian Anton Chichkan made his first RPL appearance previously playing two home matches with U-19 side in M-Liga. His debut was spoiled 20 minutes later, when Ilya Kukharchuk scored a header from another header cross by Dmitry Tikhiy.

Having one-man advantage Ufa started to play more active after the break, as six of ten shots reached the goal, but all were stopped by Ilya Lantratov. The visitors got their last chance, when Oleg Ivanov felt down in the box after wrestling with Aleksandr Filin. RPL top scorer Gamid Agalarov took the shot and scored his 18th goal this season. Ufa saved a point, but this one did not make their positions better.

Khimki remain 13th on 29 points, while Ufa stay 15th on 23 points.
