Two teams from the bottom kicked off the Saturday afternoon in the matchday 29, and the losing team could lose the last chances to move up from the relegation zone. Ufa struck first, as Dmitry Kabutov fired with one touch after two header passes from Gamid Agalarov and Egas Cacintura and scored his first goal for Ufa.

Arsenal lost Sergey Tkachev, as he suffered shoulder injury, but coming on as substitute Ewans Kangwa provided the goal attack, which was finished by his brother Kingw, who tied Evgeny Markov as the team top scorer with four goals. The second goal from the hosts could have come before the break, but Danil Stepanov saved the ball on the goal line, and after the VAR check the score remained tied.

Ewans ended the first half with a yellow card, and the second one came to him in the final 20 minutes, as he played dangerously against Konstantin Pliev. Ufa used this advantage quickly, Oston Urunov’s cross found Agalarov, who netted his 19th goal of the season. This winning goal tied Ufa with Ural and stole the last chances from Arsenal to leave the 16th place.

Ufa remain 15th on 27 points, while Arsenal stay bottom on 23 points.
