Super sub Dolgov hits the brace to win Arena Khimki battle

Khimki came back to their home arena, but this time as visitors, as Torpedo continue to host opponents at Arena Khimki. Nominal guests showed, who are real hosts, when Aleksandr Rudenko scored the first goal from the rebound getting his second of the season. He scored the same times in the previous league seasons with Khimki and Sochi.

Torpedo equalize after David Karaev was dropped down in the box, and Aleksey Pomerko scored from the spot, that’s his first ever RPL goal. The game stayed tied, and when Aleksandr Dolgov entered the pitch, it turned around. The striker hit the top corner from Aleksandr Lomovitsky assist, and four minutes later he sent the ball into the net from Kirill Bozhenov crossing pass. All three goals this season Dolgov scored after coming on as a substitute.

Following four matchdays Khimki get seven points, while Torpedo stay 15th with one point.
