Slavisa Jokanovic continued his good start in the RPL, as Dynamo took the first away win in Samara. Luka Gagnidze started for the White-Blues for the first time, and his corner kick led to opening the deadlock, thanks to Roberto Fernandez header. The Paraguayan got his first league goal in his second game. Despite conceding first, Krylia made more pressure in the attacking zone, Dmitry Tsypchenko and Artem Sokolov had two attempts in one attack, but Tsypchenko was stopped by Anton Shunin, while Sokolov hit the bar.

Dynamo caught another chance in the breakaway, Nikola Moro provided Vyacheslav Grulev, and he beat Ivan Lomaev to score second of the match and his second of the season. Krylia finished with 17 shots in total, five more than Dynamo, and the most active player Maksim Glushenkov, who had seven attempts, was announced as MOTM.

Dynamo tied Zenit on eight points but stayed behind due to goal difference. Krylia are tenth on four points.
